On June 4, Quang Ninh Commune Police (Quang Tri province) said that recently, the situation of teenagers violating the law on traffic order and safety in some localities in the province has tended to increase, affecting security and order.
Faced with this situation, the commune police have coordinated with functional forces to strengthen patrols, inspections and promptly handle violations.
Through grasping the situation, Quang Ninh Commune Police summoned 7 teenagers driving motorbikes without helmets, revving engines, speeding, and overtaking recklessly on some roads in the commune before.
The subjects were aged 13 to 17, residing in Tran Xa and Quyet Tien villages. At the police station, the children admitted their violations and were aware of the danger level of their actions to themselves and traffic participants.
Currently, Quang Ninh Commune Police are continuing to consolidate dossiers, expand verification to handle related cases; and at the same time consider handling vehicle owners who hand over vehicles to people who do not meet the conditions according to regulations.
In the coming time, the police force will promote preventive measures, prevent and strictly handle violations, in order to ensure security and order and traffic safety in the area.
