On July 25, information from the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union said that the Nghia Hung Commune Youth Union had just completed the youth project "Gratitude Chess Road", towards the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026).
Along the road leading to the commune martyrs' cemetery, national flags and Party flags are hung neatly, extended in red. The project contributes to making the memorial space more solemn, while expressing the feelings and responsibility of the young generation towards those who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the nation.
To complete the project, union members and youth of the branches together transported, installed flagpoles, hung flags and renovated the entire route. The tasks were carried out urgently and carefully, ensuring that the flagpoles were aligned and synchronized.

On this occasion, local youth also organized flower offerings, commemorating heroic martyrs; coordinated to plant flowers, green trees, clear trees and collect garbage in the cemetery grounds.
Nghia Hung commune is currently established on the basis of arranging the entire natural area and population of Nghia Thanh and Nghia Hung communes, belonging to the old Nghia Dan district. The locality officially operates under the new model from July 1, 2025. After arranging, commune mass organizations continue to implement many volunteer activities, landscape embellishment and cultural life building in residential areas.
The "Gratitude Flag Road" project not only creates a landscape highlight but is also an educational activity for visual traditions, contributing to spreading the morality of "When drinking water, remember the source", "Gratitude" among union members, youth and local people.
