Naval Region 5 supports people to overcome the consequences of storms

    Ca Mau - Brigade 175, Command of Naval Region 5 has mobilized officers and soldiers to coordinate with forces to help people overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

    At about 4 am on July 27, a thunderstorm occurred in Nam Can commune, Ca Mau province, causing the roofs of 2 houses of people to be blown off, including 1 house completely blown off.

    Immediately after receiving the request for support from the local authorities, Brigade 175, Command of Naval Region 5, mobilized officers and soldiers to the scene, coordinated with the Military Command of Nam Can commune, Commune Police and local union members and youth to help people overcome the consequences.

    The forces urgently dismantled the damaged roof, cleaned up the scene and supported people to move property to a safe place.

    This is the second time in the past 4 days that officers and soldiers of Brigade 175 have participated in supporting people here to overcome the consequences of natural disasters. Previously, on July 24, the unit also mobilized forces to support households affected by thunderstorms.
