Greening and high technology are mandatory routes for businesses

In the context of a strong global economic shift, Vietnamese enterprises face the mandatory need to switch to a sustainable, high-tech development model.

Enterprises accelerate green transformation, invest in high technology

Sustainable development and the application of high technology are not only a temporary trend, but have become a standard for businesses to survive in the international supply chain, access the market and meet new consumer expectations.

To move towards green and sustainable development, businesses are forced to invest in high technology from automation, big data, AI, to energy-saving lines and recyclables. In many large industrial parks, the trend of building "high-performance - low-emission" factories has begun to spread. Some pioneering enterprises deploy smart management systems, using solar energy, reducing waste and plastic packaging...

During the visit to the Hai Duong Branch of CP. Vietnam's Livestock Factory, we directly observed the high-tech production model, reducing emissions with the goal of sustainable development. The factory is located in Tan Truong Industrial Park with an area of over 110,000 m2, designed capacity of 720,000 tons/year.

A representative of CP. Vietnam shared that the factory invested in a pressing line, a cooling system, finished product arrangement robots and automatic control solutions according to international standards to help the entire operating process achieve a high level of automation. The factory has a long-standing operating platform and high level of automation, outstanding in the feed Technology lab and a quality sampling - encryption - comparison system to ensure the objectivity and stability of the product.

All input materials are received using a mechanical system, then subjected to inspection by the QC department operating independently of the factory, with encrypted data jointly supervised by quality management experts of CP Group. The storage condition monitoring system is operated by specialized equipment, helping to limit risks during storage.

In addition, most stages, from grinding, mixing, pressing to cooling and packaging, are automated, combined with loading and unloading robots to reduce manual labor, improve safety and performance.

Saving energy, reducing plastic packaging by 20%

Along with the orientation of applying high technology, CP. Vietnam's animal feed factory in Hai Duong is also being developed according to the criteria of energy saving and environmental friendliness. Talking to Lao Dong, Mr. Vu Anh Tuan - Deputy Senior General Director of CP. Vietnam - informed that right from the design stage, the goal of the enterprise is to improve operational efficiency, reduce energy consumption compared to previous factories and fully meet industry standards.

We prioritize the use of fuels such as saw gase and chipped debris to reduce emissions and take advantage of by-products. At the same time, focus on solving the amount of plastic waste generated from food packaging. The weight of the bag is reduced from 110g to about 87g, equivalent to a reduction of more than 20% of the plastic used. Another strategic solution is to expand the form of livestream use of silo ( Livestock container). This direction is applied synchronously to both domestic and foreign livestock systems" - Mr. Vu Anh Tuan informed.

In the food recipe, Mr. Vu Anh Tuan said that the company also adjusted in the direction of balancing amino acids, limiting excess protein - the main cause of odor and emissions in the farm, thereby contributing to a clear improvement in the livestock environment.

Through the model of Vietnam's CP factory in Hai Duong, it can be seen that the trend of greening, sustainable development and high-tech application is not only an inevitable requirement for manufacturing enterprises but also creates a foundation for modern, efficient and environmentally friendly production activities.
