Point c, Clause 1 and Point c, Clause 2, Article 14 of the 2025 Employment Law stipulate support for workers going to work abroad under contract as follows:
1. Workers in one of the following cases are supported before going to work abroad under contract:
c) People from poor households, near-poor households;
2. Support mode includes:
c) Other expenses for workers going to work abroad under contract.
Clause 4, Article 30 of Decree No. 338/2025/ND-CP detailing a number of articles of the Law on Employment on policies to support job creation stipulates the content and level of expenditure to support workers going to work abroad under contracts, which includes other expenses for workers going to work abroad under contracts as follows:
a) Passport fee according to the level prescribed by law on the regime of collection, payment and management of the fee for issuing passports, visas, documents for entry, exit, transit and residence in Vietnam;
b) Fees for issuing judicial record cards according to the levels prescribed by law on the regime of collection, payment, management and use of fees for issuing judicial record cards;
c) Visa fees according to the current regulations of the labor receiving country;
d) Health examination costs according to the actual medical examination and treatment service price of a medical facility licensed to perform health examinations for workers going to work abroad, maximum support level of 750,000 VND/person.
Thus, people from poor households going to work abroad under contract are supported with health check-up costs according to the actual medical examination and treatment service price of the medical facility licensed to perform health check-ups for workers going to work abroad with a maximum support level of 750,000 VND/person according to the above regulations.
