After more than a year of renovation and restoration, the historic Ca' Giustinian Faccanon Palace in Venice has reopened. And especially this will be an exhibition space for Vietnamese fine arts works within the framework of the Venice Biennale Art Exhibition 2026.
It is known that the historic Ca' Giustinian Faccanon Palace, acquired by Venetian businessman Andrea Parisotto, has officially reopened in Venice (Italy). Accordingly, the palace currently under the cultural management of Art Events, will once again become a venue for international exhibitions, events and projects.

To mark the return of the historic building associated with Venice's cultural life, Art Events will inaugurate and launch the exhibition space at the end of March. In particular, among the first confirmed projects, there is a Vietnamese exhibition project within the framework of the 61st Venice Art Biennale. The exhibition is titled "Art in the Global Stream" (Art in the Global Stream), and will be curated by Do Tuong Linh.
The 61st Venice Art Biennale international art exhibition is expected to open in May and last until November 2026. The event is also considered an important step forward for Vietnamese fine arts on the international contemporary art map, while opening up opportunities for deeper dialogue between Vietnamese artists and the global art community.

In more than a century of history, the Venice Art Biennale has always been considered one of the most prestigious art events in the world. Organized since 1895 and held periodically every two years, this exhibition is often likened to the "Festival of Fine Arts" because of its scale and great influence on international art life.
Each Biennale gathers hundreds of artists, curators and art organizations from many countries, bringing creative projects reflecting the trends and issues of global contemporary art. This year, 99 countries and territories have been approved by the organizers to participate in the event.
The event of Vietnam participating in the Venice Art Biennale for the first time is also associated with the internationalization journey of some domestic artists. Previously, in 2023, Le Huu Hieu became the first Vietnamese artist to receive an invitation letter from the Organizing Committee of the Venice Art Biennale to attend the 60th exhibition.

Born in 1982 in Ha Tinh and currently living and working in Hanoi, Le Huu Hieu once attracted attention in Europe with his personal exhibition "Soul Energy" in 2021 in Venice. The exhibition is organized by MoCA Italy and Arte Laguna Studio at Arsenale Nord with a space of nearly 1,000 m2, under the curatorship of Dr. Chiara Canali.
Le Huu Hieu said that since 2017 when he went to Italy to attend the exhibition, he has directly visited Biennale and is determined to attend this event. According to him, organizing a personal exhibition in Venice is a strategic step to approach the international art environment and prepare for larger projects.
The announcement of the Vietnamese art project at the Venice Art Biennale 2026 is not only a symbolic event for domestic fine arts, but also opens a new chapter for the integration process of Vietnamese art with the world.
