Mr. Pham Quoc Bao - Chairman of the Board of Directors of EVNHCMC - said that he predicted that the demand for electricity consumption in Ho Chi Minh City during the hot season in 2025 will tend to increase compared to 2024.
In March 2025, the average electricity consumption of Ho Chi Minh City will reach 89.03 million kWh/day, 1.3% higher than the same period in 2024.
The average electricity consumption in April 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City is expected to reach more than 100 million kWh/day, the highest on April 28, over 105 million kWh.
To ensure the supply of electricity to serve people and businesses, EVNHCMC has proactively implemented many solutions to ensure stable power supply in the dry season and throughout 2025.
EVNHCMC also coordinates with press agencies to promote safe and economical use of electricity, contributing to raising awareness of safe and effective use of electricity in the community to minimize fire and explosion incidents caused by electricity.
This year is the third consecutive year that EVNHCMC has coordinated with Thanh Nien Newspaper to organize a writing contest "Saving electricity becomes a habit".
