Faced with the requirement to innovate propaganda and education work, the "Mobile Art Program with the theme "Continuing Steps" has chosen traditional art as a means of spreading history, culture and patriotism to youth and people.
The idea originated from the practical work of Mr. Phan Thanh Tre - Deputy Secretary of Vinh Long Provincial Youth Union. After many years of being associated with Youth Union and Association activities, he realized that Cai Luong and Ca Co still have sustainable vitality and the ability to effectively convey traditional values.
History will no longer be rigid if told in art; culture will live forever when it is welcomed by the community and continues to be passed down," Mr. Phan Thanh Tre shared.

Unlike ordinary art programs, the "Mobile Art Program with the theme "Continuing Steps" proactively composes and stages new works about revolutionary traditions, patriotism and the aspiration to contribute of youth. The program is invested synchronously in terms of content and form, contributing to bringing traditional art closer to youth and people.
From October 16 to November 2, 2024, the "Moving Art Program with the theme "Continuing Steps"" is organized in 9/9 districts and cities of Ben Tre province (before the merger), attracting more than 6,000 direct viewers and thousands of union members and youth participating in organization and communication. The program continues to spread through newspapers, social networks and online platforms.
Comrade Pham Thanh Ngoan - Deputy Head of the Provincial Youth Union and Children's Affairs Committee - said that the value of the initiative is not only in innovating propaganda forms but also bringing culture closer to the community, helping messages about history, tradition and patriotism spread naturally and sustainably.
Practical effectiveness has helped the "Mobile Art Program with the theme "Continuing Steps"" become a typical model in innovating propaganda and traditional education. On May 29, the Chairman of Vinh Long Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 3493/QD-UBND recognizing the effectiveness of application, scalability and nationwide scope of influence for the initiative.

According to Dr. Pham Van Luan - Lecturer at Ho Chi Minh City University of Culture, the "Mobile Art Program with the theme "Continuing Steps" has brought traditional art into the community education space, helping young people and people access history and culture through a lively experience. From mobile stages at the grassroots level, the initiative has become a bridge connecting generations, contributing to preserving and promoting national cultural identity.
