The U21 Vietnam women's volleyball team encountered a problem at the 2025 U21 World Cup. Before that, coach Nguyen Trong Linh's team finished the group stage as the second place in Group A (4 wins, 1 loss) and reached the round of 16.
However, recently, the World Volleyball Federation has issued a decision to discipline the Vietnam U21 women's volleyball team for having 1 athlete who was not eligible to participate in the tournament. Therefore, the team had to cancel the results of the first 4 matches (except 9 points) and dropped to the bottom of the table, thereby falling into the qualifying round from 17-24.
According to the match schedule, U21 Vietnam will face U21 Egypt at 1:00 p.m. today (August 13. Quynh Huong and her teammates will try their best to get a favorable result to aim for the best position in the tournament.
