In which, the General Secretary and President emphasized the major, new, and important orientations for the 16th National Assembly to meet the development requirements of the country in the new period.
The National Assembly listened to the National Election Council report summarizing the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term, reporting on the results of confirming the status of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term; considering and deciding on the organizational structure and senior leadership personnel of the State for the 2026-2031 term.
At the Session, the National Assembly considered and passed 9 laws, 5 legal normative resolutions; decided on issues of socio-economics, finance, and budget (including 5-year plans for the 2026-2030 period, the establishment of Dong Nai city...); considered and approved the National Assembly's supervision program, established the National Assembly's thematic supervision delegation in 2027; considered the report on summarizing the recommendations of voters and people sent to the First Session, 16th National Assembly, and the report on the results of supervising the resolution of voters' recommendations sent to the 10th Session, 15th National Assembly, along with some other important contents.
The first session was successful, marking a solid start, creating momentum, confidence and new motivation for the entire term of the 16th National Assembly.
The results of the session affirmed the spirit of responsibility, effort and determination to innovate in the preparation work as well as the method of conducting the Session, ensuring compliance with the provisions of law and maximizing time, improving the quality and efficiency of the Session.
At the meeting, voters in Phu Tho province expressed their belief in the new National Assembly. At the same time, voters also sent to National Assembly deputies their aspirations on policies to develop transport infrastructure, transform commodity production, develop tourism, health, education, and social security policies...
Speaking at the voter meeting, Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai, on behalf of the National Assembly deputies, respectfully thanked the trust and precious feelings that voters have given to the delegation.
