On March 6, candidates running for National Assembly Deputy of the 16th term, term 2026 - 2031, constituency No. 7, An Giang province had a meeting with voters in Dong Hung commune.
After listening to the biography and the candidate presenting the action program, voters in Dong Hung commune expressed their trust and sent their hopes to the delegates that if elected, they would pay more attention to people's livelihoods and infrastructure development in the locality.

Voter Le Thuy Hien expressed: "People hope to have plans to create livelihoods, regulate fresh and saltwater for cultivation and production; have preferential loan capital to develop shrimp and crab farming models; pay more attention to vulnerable groups; have mechanisms and policies to subsidize cadres in Party and mass organizations.
Voter Le Ba Thinh commented: "I hope to invest in more infrastructure because compared to the current development, it has not kept up with development needs. People also hope to expand roads, clear traffic to help develop the economy more. Solve the environmental problem of harmony between shrimp, crab, and rice farming".
Voters have opinions that it is necessary to invest in centralized waste treatment facilities, and policies for people with meritorious services need to be closely concerned. Regarding education, it is necessary to pay attention to people in remote areas, especially the issue of unsynchronized textbooks causing difficulties and burdens for parents, especially households in rural areas in difficult circumstances. Pay attention to investing in the quality of health insurance medical examination and treatment, the lack of medicine and medical supplies, and how to remove them so that people can be cared for and treated best and promptly.

Voter Pham Van Do commented: "In addition to the weather causing difficulties for farmers, the source of materials and fertilizers is now competing with too many companies, all kinds are rampant. Through inspection of counterfeit and smuggled goods, there are many, so what solutions are there to inspect and handle so that farmers can feel secure in production".
Mr. Do also said that the power lines still have some unfinished connections, how to complete them, because of the risk of fire and explosion, which is unsafe. Some places even use motorbikes without roads, so they hope to invest in people's bridges and connecting roads so that people can travel conveniently and students can go to school safely.
At the conference, Ms. Nguyen Quynh Lien - Member of the Presidium, Head of the Democracy, Supervision and Social Criticism Committee, Deputy Chairman of the Democracy - Law Advisory Council of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front - said that all investments in electricity, roads, schools, and stations for connecting transportation systems have also been invested in the commune.

The commune also has a lot of potential to strongly develop the sustainable shrimp, crab, and rice model, strongly shifting from pure agricultural production thinking to agricultural economy, diversifying aquaculture objects; applying science and technology very strongly to agricultural production.
However, the commune also has certain common difficulties that need to be resolved to help the locality develop further and improve people's lives.
If trusted to be elected as a National Assembly Deputy of the 16th term, Ms. Lien expressed that she will work with the locality to pay more attention to issues of social security, ethnicity, religion, especially education, health, issues related to the environment, science and technology...
I will try to contribute in-depth opinions on development policies for the Mekong Delta region in general as well as An Giang province in particular, so that we have specific mechanisms and policies, creating conditions in terms of institutions, liberating and unlocking resources for the economic development of the province as well as the commune. How to ensure that solutions are both harmonious in the common solution of the whole country but also correctly and accurately solve the specific problems of the locality that are currently being raised," Ms. Lien expressed.
Voters also contributed opinions so that projects from the target program will correctly and accurately solve the current problems of the locality such as building social security systems, rural roads, irrigation systems... creating sustainable development and protecting people's crops, harmonizing livelihood models.
