On October 2, the Women's Union of Lam Dong province said that the unit had just successfully directed the organization of a grassroots congress for the 2025-2030 term.
Specifically, the 1st Congress of the Women's Union of Xuan Huong - Da Lat Ward, term 2025 - 2030, was connected online to 119 communes, wards and towns in the whole province.
The congress was attended by 150 delegates, representing more than 7,000 female members in the ward.
With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Breakthrough - Development", the congress discussed and evaluated the results of the 2021 - 2025 term, and at the same time set out directions and tasks for the 2025 - 2030 period.
In which, two breakthroughs were identified: "Comprehensive digital transformation in the Association organization, accompanying women to improve digital capacity" and "Promoting women to start businesses, innovate, and get rich legitimately".
At the congress, the Executive Committee of the first term, 2025 - 2030, consisting of 49 members, was announced with a decision to appoint. The Congress also appointed 2 official delegates and 1 alternate delegate to attend the 1st Lam Dong Provincial Women's Congress.
Ms. Tran Truong Thi Thien Tra was appointed to hold the position of President of the Women's Union of Xuan Huong Ward.

Ms. H'Vi Eban - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong Province, President of the Women's Union (VFF) of Lam Dong Province - said that after the high-point congress, the unit will draw lessons to implement the general congress.
Previously, the Provincial Women's Union issued a plan and instructed commune-level associations to organize congresses for the 2025-2030 term, striving to complete before October 30, 2025.
According to regulations, in areas that do not implement consolidation and merger, the congress will elect the new Executive Committee and elect delegates to the higher-level congress.
For areas with mergers and acquisitions, these contents will not be held; instead, the new Executive Committee and delegates attending the higher-level congress will be appointed and announced by the Provincial Women's Union at the congress.
