On the afternoon of September 29, speaking with Lao Dong, Mr. Doan Phung Trinh - Chairman of the People's Committee of Nguyen Binh Khiem commune - said that the locality is continuing to count the damage of the dragon fruit and tornado that occurred on the same morning.
The tornado passed through the area of Hoa Binh, the old Ly Hoc (now in Nguyen Binh Khiem commune). Preliminary statistics show that the tornado did not cause any human casualties. Regarding property damage, the tornado blew off some houses, mainly the roofs and skyrockets; blew off the main roofs of 3-4 houses, mainly old tiled houses. At the same time, 3 electric poles were broken. Hoa Binh Kindergarten also had its roof blown off.
"The commune is still synthesizing the damage, supporting people to overcome the consequences" - the commune leader informed.


Vinh Hai commune also recorded damage to the dragon fruit spill at around 11am on September 29. By the afternoon of the same day, Mr. Vu Xuan Quang - Chairman of the Commune People's Committee - said that according to preliminary statistics, the incident did not cause any human casualties. Dragon's hoes caused the corrugated iron roofs of many houses to fall off; some rice fields were broken and collapsed.
The Vinh Am commune area was also affected by the tornado and dragon fruit. According to local people, the dragon fruit saw the roofs of some houses collapse, and many trees, fruit trees, and crops were affected.
