On January 19, the delegation of Lam Dong province attended the 14th National Party Congress, including 46 official delegates. Among them, 9 delegates are ethnic minorities.
Lam Dong province currently has 49 brotherly ethnic groups living together, ethnic minorities account for nearly 18% of the population. The province always considers building a contingent of ethnic minority cadres as a long-term task, with strategic significance in consolidating the great national unity bloc.
Therefore, delegates who are ethnic minorities trusted and elected to attend the 14th Party Congress are not only representatives, but also send the belief, aspiration and voice of ethnic minorities in Lam Dong to the Party.
Member of the Executive Committee of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of Dam Rong 2 commune - Mr. N'Du Ha Bien - said that he is very proud to be a delegate attending the 14th Party Congress.
As a cadre working at the grassroots level, directly attached to ethnic minorities, Mr. Ha Bien clearly sees the positive changes from the Party's guidelines and policies in the past time. The rural face of ethnic minority areas has become spacious, people's lives have gradually improved, and confidence in the Party's leadership is increasingly strengthened.

Mr. N'Du Ha Bien shared: "I expect this Congress to continue to pay attention to specific policies for grassroots ethnic minority areas, support production associated with the actual conditions of the people and train young officials who are ethnic minorities to create a long-term approach.
Ms. Ha Thi Hanh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province expressed her wish that the Party will continue to pay attention to perfecting the mechanism for the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations to participate more effectively in the work of supervision and social criticism.
