Helping, helping our compatriots overcome difficulties
Faced with the unprecedented and complex developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Presidium and the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front have organized 3 calls for and deployed mobilization work to support the work of preventing and fighting the COVID-19 epidemic. The Social Mobilization and Mobilization Subcommittee has organized a campaign to raise funds "All people unite, strive to prevent and combat the COVID-19 epidemic"; coordinated with member organizations, ministries, branches and agencies of the Central Committee to launch and deploy many programs to mobilize people to participate in preventing and fighting the epidemic; coordinated to organize many campaign messages "All people support COVID-19 prevention and control" and implemented the program "Millions of gifts of Great Unity to support the Southern people to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic".
The entire system of the Fatherland Front has called for and mobilized funds and goods worth over VND 15,015 billion to support the work of preventing and fighting the COVID-19 epidemic, of which the amount of funds received through the Central Relief Mobilization Committee to support the vaccine Fund and the work of preventing and fighting the epidemic is VND 2,789 billion. The organization of calling for, mobilizing, receiving, managing, and allocating land use is carried out strictly, publicly, transparently, and without errors.
On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the historic victory of Dien Bien Phu (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024), the Vietnam Fatherland Front has developed and implemented a Project on mobilizing social resources to support the construction of Great Unity houses for poor households in Dien Bien province and the Northwest, affirming the strong innovation in the implementation of activities to support the poor and social security. After only 9 months since its launch, the Program has completed the target of 5,000 houses for poor households in Dien Bien province and 940 solidarity houses for poor households in 5 localities in the Northwest region.
Also in 2024, the Vietnam Fatherland Front launched, called for, and mobilized domestic and foreign agencies, businesses, organizations, and individuals to donate over VND 5,303 billion to join hands to support people in 26 northern provinces and cities to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3 (Yagi), of which the budget received through the Central Relief Mobilization Committee is VND 2,675 billion.
Most recently, on October 2, 2025, the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front held a launching ceremony to support people in the provinces to overcome the consequences of storm No. 10. Responding to the call, many domestic and foreign agencies, organizations and individuals have supported through the Central Relief Mobilization Committee. As of 5:00 p.m. on November 5, 2025, organizations and individuals have registered to support VND 1,185.62 billion... with specific efforts, efforts and results, the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has been recognized and highly appreciated by sectors, levels and people. Thereby contributing to creating consensus in society, building and consolidating the great national unity bloc to become more and more solid.
Effectively implementing patriotic emulation movements
The movement "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas" continues to be widely and effectively implemented, contributing significantly to socio-economic development and improving people's lives. The Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels has presided over and coordinated with the government, member organizations and the entire population to synchronously deploy 5 contents of the movement in conjunction with the criteria for building new rural areas, civilized urban areas and the Campaign "All people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas".
Every year, over 90% of residential areas register and organize effective implementation; the rate of residential areas achieving cultural titles increases steadily; rural infrastructure is improved; the poverty rate decreases significantly; many self-management models in the community are replicated.
Promoting its role as a center of solidarity, gathering the will and aspirations of the people, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels has mobilized people to contribute tens of thousands of billions of VND, millions of working days, donate land and assets to build roads, schools, medical stations, cultural houses, contributing to changing the face of rural areas, improving urban quality, ensuring social security and promoting sustainable development.
Through the construction and replication of models of "Outstanding Residential Area", "Cultural Family", "Cultural Street", "Shaped Garden", "Self-managed Flower Road", the movement has become a driving force to spread a good lifestyle, promote the positivity and subjective role of the people in community development. Many places have effectively integrated the movement with the program of building advanced new rural areas and model new rural areas, contributing significantly to improving the material and spiritual quality of life of rural and urban people.
Party committees at all levels have paid attention to strictly directing the concretization of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Directives and Conclusions of the Central Committee into 6 key action programs of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and member organizations.
Typically, the Program to encourage people from all walks of life to compete and create, effectively implementing campaigns and patriotic emulation movements, typically: Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas" (78% of communes meet new rural standards), "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" (more than 12,000 OCOP products are recognized), "For the poor - No one is left behind" (each year mobilizes thousands of billions of VND), "Creative solidarity" (yearly announces the Vietnam Creative Golden Book, introduces 70 - 100 outstanding works).
The Party Committees of socio-political organizations and mass associations assigned by the Party and State have directed the effective implementation of patriotic emulation movements, closely following the characteristics of union members and members such as the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, focusing on promoting the movement "Good labor - Creative labor", "good advice, good service", emulating and responding to movements launched by the Prime Minister; Vietnam Farmers' Association with the movement "Good farmers in production and business", protecting the rural environment; Vietnam Women's Union with the movement "Building women in the new era", the campaign "Building a 5-zero, 3-clean family", "Women's creative startups"; Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union with the movements "Youth Volunteers", "Creative Youth"; Vietnam Veterans Association with the movements "Exemplary Veterans", "Help each other reduce poverty, do good business"...
