The 70th anniversary of the founding of Viet Duc High School was attended by one of the first students studying at the school in 22, now 90 years old. Mr. Nguyen Kim Son used to hold the position of Director of the Department of Science - International Cooperation of the General Department of Land Use of Vietnam, and was once the secretary of the General Secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party - Kaysone Phomvihane.

Under the base of an ancient tree in front of the gate of Viet Duc High School, the gray haired teacher watched the flow of time. The traces of years are imprinted on his shoulders, on the moss covering the shade of trees and the hundred-year-old building - where 70 generations of students have passed through the age of 17 and 18 to enter the world. He said slowly: "Seven generations of students have worked with their teachers to write a brilliant and memorable youth in their own way. Remembering those years, I am always moved.
