On the morning of March 11, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lang Son province organized a conference to summarize and award prizes for the online contest "Understanding the law on the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term", and at the same time thoroughly grasped some contents on election work.
The contest is launched by the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province to propagate and disseminate laws on elections, contributing to raising awareness of officials, union members, association members and people about the rights and obligations of citizens in participating in elections.
According to the Organizing Committee, the contest takes place for 5 weeks, from January 5 to February 8, 2026, with the participation of 113 agencies, units, and organizations in the province.
After a period of implementation, 58,950 accounts participated, with more than 114,600 entries.

The organizing committee awarded 55 individual prizes per week, including 5 first prizes, 10 second prizes, 15 third prizes and 25 consolation prizes. In addition, 9 collectives with excellent achievements in organizing and participating in the contest were awarded prizes, including 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 3 consolation prizes.
Assessments from the Organizing Committee show that the contest was implemented according to plan, the content closely followed the provisions of law on election of National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels.
This activity is also considered a new approach in propaganda and application of information technology to expand people's participation.
Speaking at the conference, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Nguyen Hoang Tung congratulated the collectives and individuals who won prizes and acknowledged the active participation of agencies and units in the implementation of the contest.

At the conference, leaders of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee also thoroughly grasped some contents related to election work in the coming time.
Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Fatherland Front Committees of communes and wards is requested to continue to coordinate in organizing voter meetings in accordance with regulations; promote propaganda to ensure sufficient number of and correct deputies are elected.
Localities are also required to strengthen inspection and urging of preparation work at polling stations; mobilize voters to participate in early voting to achieve a high rate.
The Fatherland Front at all levels also needs to supervise the organization of voting and counting of votes, promptly grasp the situation in election districts and reflect arising issues...
