Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper published an article "Preschool teachers in Nha Trang propose clarifying revenues and expenditures before Tet", reflecting the opinions of some teachers working at Phuong Sai Kindergarten who said that many amounts of money should have been paid to teachers but have not been paid, causing frustration before the Lunar New Year.
After the reflection, the school leaders had a written response sent to Lao Dong Newspaper.
According to the document signed by Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi - Principal of Phuong Sai Kindergarten, the school has clarified a number of contents related to the collection and spending of talent learning fees and lunch duty fees of officials and teachers.
From September 2025 to December 2025 and January 2026, all lunchtime allowances of officials and teachers have been paid by the school according to vouchers on February 9, 2026.
Regarding the content of internal fund revenue and expenditure that has not been fully disclosed, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi said that according to the proposal of the heads of the groups at the Conference of civil servants and employees for the 2025–2026 school year, the school collective has agreed to establish an internal fund contributed by members themselves.
Accordingly, each official, teacher, and staff member in the school deducts 450,000 VND/person/month from breakfast service money and overtime on Saturdays to form a fund. This fund is used for collective activities such as sightseeing, parties, buying Tet gifts, lucky money at the beginning of the year, birthdays, visiting sick people, funerals...
The school collective unanimously assigned Ms. Pham Thi Hue - medical staff cum treasurer - to manage the fund and report in detail the revenue and expenditure situation before the school council meetings in January and June every year.
The school also agreed to finalize the internal fund at the end of July 2026, the principle is to spend it all, not collect more. If there is surplus, it will be returned to the members, without leaving the fund in stock.
However, according to the explanation, by February 10, 2026, the school will publicly disclose the collection and spending of the internal fund at the meeting of the Pedagogical Council.
Regarding the amount of 480,000 VND/teacher/year for tailoring work uniforms that teachers claimed to have collected from the beginning of the year but have not been paid, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi said that the cost of working uniforms for teachers is implemented from the state budget according to internal spending regulations, not revenue from teachers.
According to the 2025–2026 school year plan, after teachers proposed costume designs, the school assigned two professional team leaders to hold a team meeting to select designs. The school has also signed a contract with Thuan Nguyen Co., Ltd. (Dong Nhon residential group, Tay Nha Trang ward) to sew costumes and has paid the cost.
However, up to now, the tailoring unit has not implemented it because it has not received a uniform workwear sample from the school.
The classroom decoration fee in January 2026 has not been paid because there are not enough proposals and documents from the classes.
