On February 25, Tuy Duc Commune People's Committee (Lam Dong province) informed that the unit had just coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune and Tuy Duc Border Guard Station to organize the "National Border Guard Day" program in 2026.
This is a practical activity towards the 67th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Border Guard (March 3, 1959 – March 3, 2026) and the 37th anniversary of the National Border Guard Day (March 3, 1989 – March 3, 2026).
Within the framework of the festival, many cultural and artistic activities and lively folk games were organized, creating an atmosphere of military-civilian cohesion in the border area.

At the program, the Border Guard of Lam Dong province awarded 28 scholarships under the "Cadres and Soldiers Raise Children to School" Project, each worth 7.4 million VND; presented gifts to self-management groups for border lines, landmarks and self-management groups for village and hamlet security and order with a total value of 7.1 million VND...
In particular, the "Border School" program chaired by Tuy Duc Border Guard Station has been organized in more than 20 phases, with the participation of 1,546 turns of officials, teachers, students and people.
Major Nong Van Vui - Political Commissar of Tuy Duc Border Guard Station said: "In 2025, coordinated forces organized 22 border patrol road clearing sessions with 230 participants, contributing to ensuring clear visibility and facilitating patrol and control work. The unit promptly detected and arrested 3 subjects illegally entering the country, and handled them according to the provisions of law.
Ms. Pham Thi Phuong - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Tuy Duc commune said: "In the coming time, Tuy Duc commune determines to continue to thoroughly grasp Directive 01/CT-TTg associated with the National Border Protection Strategy and the Vietnam Border Guard Law; strengthen coordination with the Border Guard Station to build and replicate effective self-management models. Pay attention to social security work, improve the material and spiritual life of people, firmly consolidate the "people's heart formation", and connect the army and people.
Tuy Duc is a border commune, with more than 3.2km of border adjacent to Dak Dam commune, O Rang district, Mondulkiri province (Kingdom of Cambodia). Tuy Duc Border Guard Station is stationed in the area.
In 2025, the locality organized 15 propaganda sessions on the Vietnam Border Guard Law, the Party and State's guidelines and policies related to border work, attracting more than 865 participants.
