On January 24, in Kim Bang commune (Nghe An), the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front coordinated with Saigon Beer - Alcohol - Beverage Corporation (SABECO) to organize the program "Vietnamese Tet - Connecting all regions" on the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, giving 500 gifts to households in difficult circumstances.
Attending the program were Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Van - Deputy Head of the Social Work Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Ms. Lim Pei Chi Patsty - Deputy General Director in charge of Marketing and Communications of SABECO; Mr. Nguyen Duc Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, along with representatives of local authorities and a large number of people.

At the program, the organizing committee presented 500 gifts, each worth 900,000 VND, including gifts and cash to poor and near-poor households, fishermen and workers in difficult circumstances in Kim Bang commune. On this occasion, SABECO also visited and donated 20 million VND to Thanh Thuy Border Guard Station to encourage forces performing tasks on the front lines.
In addition to the gift-giving activity, the program also brings a Tet cultural experience space imbued with the North Central region's identity. People enjoyed Vi Giam folk songs - a type of folk art recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage - along with many activities recreating traditional Tet customs such as banh chung making contests, tray decoration, folk games... attracting thousands of participants.

Speaking at the program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Van emphasized that Lunar New Year is an opportunity to connect the community and spread the spirit of sharing. Organizing Tet gift-giving activities at the grassroots level contributes to helping people in difficult circumstances celebrate Tet warmly and fully, while affirming the role of the great national unity bloc.
According to the organizers, the program in Nghe An is one of a series of activities to give 6,500 gifts to disadvantaged households, workers, fishermen and border guards in 16 provinces and cities across the country.
To date, the program has been implemented in 8 localities with more than 3,300 gifts awarded. In the coming time, further activities will be organized in Quang Tri, Ninh Binh, Khanh Hoa and Gia Lai.
