On May 11, from the support of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Bai Ward coordinated with the Ward Youth Union to organize the groundbreaking ceremony for the Great Solidarity House for the family of Mr. Nguyen Duong (people's group 8B Thuy Phu, Phu Bai Ward).
The house is built on an area of about 50m2 with a total cost of more than 80 million VND. Of which, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City supported 60 million VND, the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Hue City supported 20 million VND; the rest is contributed by the locality, unions and families in terms of labor and materials.
Mr. Nguyen Duong's family is in particularly difficult circumstances. He has a severe disability, lost part of his arm, and is in poor health; his wife is often sick. For many years, the family has lived in a dilapidated temporary house but has no conditions to repair it.
Mr. Phan Tuan Vu - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Bai Ward, Secretary of the Ward Youth Union - said that supporting the construction of the Great Solidarity House contributes to helping families stabilize their lives, while spreading the spirit of mutual affection and social security responsibility in the area.
