On July 4, on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day July 27, a delegation from Nghe An province led by Ms. Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province - came to offer flowers and incense at Vinh Linh Martyrs' Cemetery, Quang Tri province.
The delegation included Mr. Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial People's Council and representatives of departments, agencies, and sectors.

In a solemn atmosphere, in front of the Fatherland Monument, the ceremonial house and the martyrs' graves, leaders of Nghe An province and the working delegation respectfully offered flowers and incense, and observed a minute of silence to commemorate the heroic martyrs who fought and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the nation and the cause of national reunification.
After the memorial ceremony, the working delegation went to the grave of martyrs from Nghe An - Ha Tinh to offer flowers and incense.
Before the spirits of the martyrs, the delegates expressed their deep gratitude for the sacrifices of previous generations; vowed to continue to promote revolutionary traditions and build an increasingly developed homeland.
Vinh Linh Martyrs' Cemetery is about 6ha wide, located next to National Highway 1A, the third largest martyrs' cemetery in Quang Tri province, after Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery and Road 9 National Martyrs' Cemetery.
Currently, the cemetery is the resting place of 5,632 martyrs, including about 800 martyrs from Nghe An and Ha Tinh.
In 2024, Nghe An province allocated funds to repair and restore the graves of martyrs from Nghe An and Ha Tinh who are resting at Vinh Linh Martyrs' Cemetery, contributing to preserving a spacious and solemn memorial space.
