At the meeting, the Organizing Committee honored 120 advanced models, exemplary, enthusiastic core, daring to think, daring to do for the peace of the people at the grassroots level.
102 delegates, including part-time commune police, civil defense, occupation forces, age groups, village chiefs, prestigious people among ethnic minorities, religious dignitaries, etc., have been attached to the work of maintaining security and order for many years.
Speaking at the meeting, Major General Nguyen Huu Hop, Director of Da Nang City Police, affirmed: In recent years, the movement of All People Protecting National Security in Da Nang has achieved many important results, creating a solid people's security posture, contributing to maintaining political stability, social order and safety, effectively serving the city's socio-economic development.
That achievement is thanks to the close leadership of Party committees at all levels, the coordination of departments, organizations and especially the dedicated, persistent and responsible contributions of the core forces at the grassroots level.
Mr. Le Tri Thanh, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City, suggested that in the coming time, associations, unions and member organizations of the Front actively propagate according to the motto "Innovation in thinking, creativity in action, exemplary leadership, for national security, for the peace and happiness of the people"; link the movement with campaigns and emulation movements; commend and replicate effective models.
For the Front at all levels and the Residential Area Front Working Committee, Mr. Le Tri Thanh suggested closely coordinating with the Police and grassroots forces to grasp the situation, promptly detect and denounce violations of the law; strengthen supervision, promote the role of mediators and prestigious people in the community.
For dignitaries, religious officials and prestigious people among ethnic minorities, it is necessary to continue to mobilize believers and people to live "good lives and be beautiful", participate in maintaining security and order; build model points at religious establishments and ethnic minority areas; promptly inform when detecting signs of law violations.
For the police force at all levels, Mr. Le Tri Thanh suggested coordinating with the Front and mass organizations to propagate and provide timely information; create conditions for people to participate in the self-management model; guide and train skills in preventing crimes and social evils.
