Joining hands to build a shelter
Ms. Do Thi Hong Man (Vinh Tuy 2 village, Vinh Ninh commune) is one of the typical poor households that have been supported to build houses from the social housing and youth program. She is in especially difficult circumstances, and for many years she and her mother have lived in her grandmother's old house. The dream of a solid home that seemed far away has now come true, thanks to the support of 60 million VND from the program, along with the help of local authorities and villagers.
Since moving to the new house, Ms. Man's life has become more stable. Without the help of the Front, government and community, I dont know how long I would have had a home like today, she said emotionally.
In Vinh Ninh commune, the work of mobilizing, coordinating and mobilizing resources from businesses, philanthropists, and local people has contributed to effectively supporting poor households. Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Ninh commune Nguyen Van Chien said that up to now, the commune has mobilized more than 60 million VND and 270 working days to support 2 households in building and repairing houses.
Not only Vinh Ninh commune, in Truong Xuan commune, the motto "publicity, transparency, and clarity" is given top priority. Reviewing, classifying, and identifying the right subjects has helped social resources get to the right place. Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Truong Xuan commune Tran Dai Nghia shared that the commune has handed over 3 houses that are eligible for support in the first phase and is implementing construction for 3 other households in the second phase.

The program for Rural Development and Rural Development in Quang Ninh district has been implemented methodically and synchronously with the active participation of the Front at all levels, mass organizations and the community. Up to now, the whole district has completed the construction and repair of houses for 44 poor and near-poor households; is implementing continued support for 43 households in the second phase.
The Front does not only stop at mobilizing resources, but also plays a role in supervising the implementation process, from initial surveys to starting construction, construction and handing over houses. Thanks to that, people's trust in the program is strengthened, the efficiency of using social resources is improved.
Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh district Pham Thi Bich Hue said that the program of Rural Development and Rural Development is a key task on social security in 2025. To achieve the set goals, the district is mobilizing all resources, from the State budget, the business community to each citizen.
Responding to the call of the District Fatherland Front Committee, in recent times, many collectives, individuals and businesses have joined hands to contribute. To date, the District Front has received more than 840 million VND to support particularly disadvantaged households in the area.
