On October 25, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province said that the unit had just organized a monitoring campaign of government activities in 15 communes and wards, with the participation of representatives of relevant departments and branches.
In each locality, the monitoring delegation surveyed and grasped the situation of quantity, structure, quality and staff arrangement; staff streamlining; receiving and handling administrative procedures for people; along with implementing the policies and resolutions of the Party and State in socio-economic development.
The delegation also supervised the management and use of public assets after the reorganization of the organization and apparatus; surveyed working conditions and equipment for management and operation at the commune level.
According to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, the supervision activities aim to comprehensively assess the arrangement of the apparatus, the arrangement of cadres and civil servants after the merger; at the same time, consider the effectiveness of management, operation and implementation of tasks of the grassroots government.
Thereby, the monitoring team promptly discovered difficulties and inadequacies in the organization and operation of commune-level government after more than 3 months of arrangement, to coordinate with departments and branches to propose solutions to remove them and improve the effectiveness of serving the people.
In addition, the delegation also proposed amending, supplementing and perfecting legal regulations to help the political system at the grassroots level operate more smoothly, effectively and efficiently.
