According to a report from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Long province, from April 20-26, the Front system at all levels in the province has implemented many practical and outstanding activities in the fields of social security, supervision, criticism and coordinated to organize movements towards grassroots levels.
During the week, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province attended many important conferences organized by the Central Government and the province; and at the same time coordinated to prepare to work with the working delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to survey the results of the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized cities".
In addition, the unit organized a conference to summarize the Front's work in the first quarter of 2026, a thematic activity at the grassroots level, and launched the Workers' Month associated with the Action Month on occupational safety and health in 2026.
Social security care continues to be concerned. The "For the Poor" Fund of the province has allocated 420 million VND to support the construction of 7 Great Solidarity houses for poor and near-poor households; unexpected support for cases of terminal illnesses.
At the same time, coordinate to hand over electronic library equipment worth 80 million VND to students and start the construction of Hy Vong bridge in An Binh commune, contributing to improving the learning and travel conditions of people.

Activities of professional departments and member organizations took place sôi nổi. The Trade Union organized the launch of Workers' Month with the participation of nearly 900 union members; newly developed 119 union members, established new grassroots trade unions. The Farmers' Association implemented production support projects with a total capital of 1.7 billion VND for 30 loan households; The Youth Union organized many dialogue, career orientation, startup and digital transformation activities, attracting a large number of union members to participate.
Women's Unions, Veterans Associations, Youth and Children's Centers and Farmer Support Centers also actively deploy inspection, training, production support, and policy propaganda activities, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of union members and people.
In addition, the work of supervision and social criticism continues to be promoted through contributing opinions to many draft documents and policies; information on public opinion, ethnic and religious situations is updated promptly.
In general, the activities of the Provincial Fatherland Front system during the week were deployed synchronously and effectively, contributing to consolidating the great national unity bloc and promoting local socio-economic development.
