On the morning of March 5, Mr. Vu Van Tien - Member of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Member of the Party Committee Executive Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Party Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Secretary of the Party Cell, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Deputy Chairman of the Advisory Council on Science and Technology and Digital Transformation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front - and candidates for National Assembly deputies belonging to constituency No. 6 met with voters in a combined form of direct and online.
Substantial bridge between voters and the National Assembly
Speaking to voters, Mr. Vu Van Tien emphasized that the past term marked many outstanding efforts of Hai Phong. In the context of many difficulties, the city still maintained its growth momentum, continuing to affirm its role as the economic locomotive of the Northern Coastal region.

As a candidate with 22 years of working experience, in many positions, at central press agencies, and having 12 years of holding management and leadership positions at the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Ministry of Construction, presenting the action program, Mr. Vu Van Tien emphasized that being introduced to run for National Assembly deputies in Hai Phong City is an honor and pride but also a great responsibility to voters and the people of the city.
Mr. Tien committed to being steadfast, honest, saying and doing; absolutely loyal, putting the interests of the Fatherland and the People first; maintaining qualities and ethics, constantly training political bravery, improving professional qualifications and parliamentary skills; promoting the application of science, technology, and digital transformation in delegate activities.

He also determined to always be by the people's side, acting as a real bridge between voters and the National Assembly; maintaining close and regular contact with the people; publicizing channels to receive opinions and reflections; strengthening meetings and direct dialogues, especially in difficult areas; closely monitoring the settlement of voters' petitions, complaints, and denunciations, ensuring transparent and lawful feedback.
Mr. Vu Van Tien said that with many years of experience in journalistic activities and in the capacity and responsibility of a member of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, he is always concerned, concerned and asks himself the following questions:
What should I do to be worthy of the trust given by voters? What should I do with the people to make my homeland more prosperous and stronger? What needs to be done to make each policy go into life, create real changes? More than anything, what practical benefits do people, each weak group, each specific community benefit from? Is the material and spiritual life of the people improved?
Innovating the operating method of the Front system
To answer those concerns, in the content of his action program, Mr. Vu Van Tien said that if elected as a National Assembly deputy of the 16th term, he will always maintain his bravery, integrity, matching words with deeds; absolute loyalty to the Fatherland and the People; constantly training and improving capacity, parliamentary skills, working with discipline, responsibility, efficiency, and depth; promoting the application of science and technology and digital transformation in National Assembly activities.
Regarding local development orientation, Mr. Tien said that he will work with the National Assembly Delegation and functional agencies to study and propose to improve specific mechanisms and policies in accordance with the resolutions of the Central Government and the city, creating new momentum for Hai Phong to break through in the new development space.
The focus is on promoting high-quality urbanization, building civilized rural areas; reforming administrative procedures in a faster, simpler, and more transparent direction; promoting the private economy, green transformation, digital transformation; connecting inter-regional infrastructure; creating sustainable jobs, developing social housing, worker housing; improving the quality of health, education, culture, and tourism; caring for people with meritorious services, and vulnerable groups.

In law-making and institutional improvement, he affirmed that he will take the difficulties and obstacles of people and businesses as a starting point when contributing policy advice; exercise the right to question and debate in the hall according to regulations; monitor and evaluate the practical impact of the law after promulgation to ensure that people and businesses enjoy real benefits.
With the responsibility of a Member of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Mr. Tien committed to promoting the innovation of the content and methods of operation of the Front system; strengthening interaction with people in cyberspace through the "Digital Front Portal" and the "Listening to the People" application; supervising and criticizing society thoroughly; establishing and publicizing the social trust index, the people's satisfaction index for the Front's work annually.
He expressed his desire to receive the trust and companionship of voters in constituency No. 6, Hai Phong City to have the opportunity to contribute more to the locality and the development of the country.
