Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung visits and wishes Christmas in Hue

HUE - Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung visited and wished a happy Christmas to the General Diocese of Hue, and visited parishioners affected by floods.

On December 18, Party Central Committee member, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung and the Government working delegation visited and congratulated Christmas at the General Director of Hue City; visited and congratulated General Director Dang Duc Ngan and priests, officials, and monks of Hue City on the occasion of Christmas 2025.

The delegation included Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee Nguyen Khac Toan and leaders of the Hue City Party Committee and People's Committee.

On behalf of the leaders of the Party, State and Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung sent Christmas wishes to General Director Dang Duc Ngan and all dignitaries, monks and Catholics in the General Diocese of Hue; wishing the new year 2026 good health, joy and success.

The Deputy Prime Minister acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of the General Department of Hue in mobilizing Catholics to live "good lives, beautiful behavior", accompany local authorities in developing the socio-economy, and maintain the great national unity bloc. At the same time, the Deputy Prime Minister shared the difficulties with the people, including Catholics, affected by the recent historic flood; emphasized the spirit of solidarity and mutual love of people of all religions in supporting and helping each other to soon stabilize their lives.

On behalf of the General Department of Hue, General Director Dang Duc Ngan thanked the attention of the leaders of the Party, State and Government; affirmed to continue to mobilize Catholics to accompany the local government and people to build Hue City to develop more and more.

On the same day, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung visited two parishioners in difficult circumstances affected by floods and inspected the construction and repair of houses under the direction of the "Quang Trung Campaign" in Loc An commune.
