On the afternoon of August 4, the 1st Congress of the Tu Minh Ward Party Committee (Hai Phong City), term 2025 - 2030, held a spring session, with the participation of 200 outstanding delegates, representing the will, aspirations and responsibilities of 1,288 party members in the entire Party Committee.
In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Ta Duan - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Tu Minh Ward emphasized that the First Congress is of special importance in the process of building and developing Tu Minh Ward after the merger, organized according to the two-level local government model.
The Congress demonstrates the spirit of solidarity, democracy, innovation and intelligence of the entire Party Committee, determined to build an increasingly clean and strong Party organization, leading the successful implementation of the set goals and tasks.
At the election session, the Congress elected a Presidium of 5 comrades, a Secretariat of 2 comrades and an Inspection Committee of the role of delegates of 5 comrades.
The Congress also approved the Program and Working Regulations; Report on the status of delegates; discuss in groups the Draft Documents of the 14th National Party Congress; Documents of the City Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term; Documents of the Ward Party Congress; Project to build a model of socialism associated with socialist people in Hai Phong city; along with some contents to note during the Congress organization process.
This Congress clearly identifies the goal: "Continuing to strongly innovate leadership methods, unify the will and actions of the entire Party Committee; promote traditions and the strength of great solidarity; promote digital transformation; maximize potential and advantages; build Tu Minh ward into a modern, civilized and sustainable industrial ward by 2030, contributing to an important development driver of the city".
The official session of the 1st Tu Minh Ward Party Congress will open at 8:00 a.m. on August 5 at the Tu Minh Ward Central Hall.
