On February 10, at the Party Committee Hall of Ly Van Lam ward, Ca Mau province, leaders of the Party, State, and Vietnam Fatherland Front visited and congratulated the new year, and presented Tet gifts to people, workers, and youth union members in difficult circumstances on the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.
Attending the program were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee; Mr. Bui Quang Huy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; Mr. Nguyen Ho Hai - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee also led the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and departments, agencies, and branches of Ca Mau province; Mr. Tong Van Bang - Member of the Presidium, Head of the Labor Relations Department of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
At the program, Party and State leaders, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front presented 50 gifts to people in Ly Van Lam ward, 50 gifts to workers, and 25 gifts to youth union members in difficult circumstances in the province.
Speaking at the program, Politburo Member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee Nguyen Thanh Nghi expressed his joy as well as acknowledged and praised the efforts of Party committees and authorities at all levels in caring for the material and spiritual life of the people, especially during the traditional Tet holiday of the nation.
Mr. Nghi requested all levels and sectors of Ca Mau province to continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, make more efforts in social security work, and ensure that all people, especially policy families, workers, and young people in difficult circumstances, can celebrate Tet in a joyful and warm atmosphere.
Affirming that the Party, State, and organizations always pay attention and try to allocate resources to care for policy families, poor households, people in difficult circumstances, workers, and laborers... to have a warm, fulfilling, and meaningful Tet, the Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee wished that in 2026, Ca Mau province would continue to pay attention to and care for people's lives, especially policy families, people with meritorious services to the revolution, poor households, and workers in difficult circumstances. This not only shows the spirit of mutual affection but also strengthens people's trust in the leadership of the Party, State and local authorities.
On the occasion of the New Year, the Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee sent New Year greetings to all people and workers of Ca Mau province to welcome a new Spring of health, happiness, peace and prosperity.
Speaking at the gift-giving program, Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai emphasized: "Implementing the Party and State's policy with the motto "Spring solidarity, Lunar New Year prosperity, worrying that every family has Tet", Ca Mau province has focused all resources to care for social security. Up to now, through the support of the Central Government and local socialization resources, over 13,000 Tet gifts with a total value of over 13 billion VND have been given to poor people, policy families and workers.
Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee thanked the attention of Party and State leaders, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and central agencies for bringing warm feelings and the early spring atmosphere to the southernmost land of the Fatherland.
