Colonel Nguyen Thanh Xuan - Deputy Head of the Political Department of Military Region 5 as head of the delegation. Participating in the delegation were Colonel Le Thanh Ton - Deputy Head of Logistics - Technical Department of Military Region 5 and officials and doctors of Military Hospital 17. From Cambodia, there were representatives of Military Region 1, local authorities and a large number of people in Po Nhay commune, Oyadav district.
Locally, a team of doctors and nurses conducted medical examinations, health consultations and free medicine distribution for nearly 1,000 people. Activities focused on common health issues, contributing to helping people in remote areas access basic health services.

At the same time, the delegation presented 150 gifts to households in difficult circumstances. The gifts are practical, supporting people to improve their lives and prepare to celebrate Tet in better conditions.
Speaking at the program, the leader of the working delegation sent New Year greetings to Military Region 1 forces, local authorities and people. At the same time, he emphasized the desire to continue to consolidate friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries and the two armies.
The activity shows a sense of responsibility and sharing with the community. This is also an opportunity to strengthen the connection between the armed forces and people in border areas.
Through the program, the image of Vietnamese soldiers continues to be affirmed in their role of both protecting the Fatherland and participating in mass mobilization and supporting social security.
The organization of medical examination and treatment and free medicine distribution contributes to raising awareness of health care for people. At the same time, it helps reduce difficulties in daily life, especially in areas with limited medical conditions.
