The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Nam province held an online conference to announce the decisions to end the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at 3 levels: province, district, commune from June 30, 2025.
At the conference, representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Nam province announced Decision No. 444 dated June 18, 2025 of Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien on ending the operation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Nam province. Accordingly, the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Nam province will end from June 30, 2025, right before the time Quang Nam province merges with Da Nang city.
The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Nam province coordinates with relevant agencies, according to their functions and tasks, to arrange and assign cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers; carry out the handover and management of finance and assets according to the provisions of law and the instructions of competent authorities.
At this conference, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Nam province announced the decision to terminate the activities of 17 Fatherland Front Committees of districts, towns and cities and 233 Fatherland Front Committees of communes, wards and towns in the province. The decision takes effect from June 30.
The Standing Committees of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of 17 districts, towns, cities and 233 communes, wards and towns are responsible for coordinating with relevant agencies to arrange and assign cadres and civil servants; at the same time, hand over and manage assets and finances according to the provisions of law and instructions of competent authorities.
