On the evening of November 10, Quarter 5, Binh Thanh Ward organized the National Great Unity Festival in 2025. The locality has honored exemplary cultural households, examples of "good people, good deeds", and presented gifts to support households in difficult circumstances.
Quarter 5 has 819 households with 3,003 people. The neighborhood has an area of 53,757.404 m2, adjacent to neighborhood 4, located along No Trang Long, Le Quang Dinh and Phan Van Tri streets. The economic life of the people in the majority of neighborhoods is above average, people live in harmony, solidarity, love and help each other, joining hands to build the neighborhood to meet cultural standards for many consecutive years.

Regarding the key direction in 2026, the Front Working Committee of Quarter 5 focuses on coordinating with the neighborhood's branches and organizations to organize activities to care for, reward, give gifts... to the people of the neighborhood; build a model of "Binh Thanh Hoa Hoa Thuong Tinh". At the same time, promoting the 1-2-3 shock formation to propagate, guide and support people in implementing the movement "Folklore of Digital learning"...
Speaking at the festival, Ho Chi Minh City Party Secretary Tran Luu Quang said that throughout the history of the nation, great national unity has always been an endless source of strength, the key to opening all victories of our country. Thanks to solidarity, the Vietnamese people have overcome many hardships, defeated all enemies and are steadfastly on the path to building a strong, civilized and loyal Vietnam.

On that journey, Ho Chi Minh City is always a gathering place for will, creativity and humanity. Today, Quarter 5 - Binh Thanh Ward is a vivid testament to that spirit - where every citizen contributes to writing a story about attachment, sharing and responsibility to the community.
The Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee expressed his emotion when listening to the simple actions that are full of affection of the people here such as "Green Sunday", "15 minutes for a bright - green - clean - beautiful city", to the programs to care for poor households, help orphaned students, support the sick and disadvantaged. Creative and humane initiatives such as "Binh Thanh - Colors of Love", "Solidarity Residential Area - Love - Self-management", "Binh Dan Hoc Thuong Luc So" help the elderly get used to technology.
Mr. Tran Luu Quang believes that if each neighborhood is united, each person is proactive, creative, and affectionate, the whole city will become stronger, more dynamic and happier than ever.
