On the afternoon of September 18, within the framework of the program "Accompanying Border Women", the Central Vietnam Women's Union in coordination with the Hai Phong City Women's Union organized a program to give gifts to women in difficult circumstances in 11 communes, wards, and special zones in coastal border areas in Hai Phong.
This is an activity that shows the concern, companionship, and sharing of the Association organization towards members and women in difficult circumstances in the coastal border area, encouraging women to continue to strive to rise up in life, contributing to maintaining national border security.
In the program, the Central Vietnam Women's Union presented 100 gifts to 100 disadvantaged women in 11 communes, wards, and special economic zones in the coastal border area. Each gift includes 1 gift bag and 1 million VND, with a total value of 130 million VND. The program is accompanied and sponsored by PetroVietnam Exploration and Production Corporation.
Accompanying Border Women" is one of the typical programs. In the period 2021 - 2025, the program mobilized more than 294 billion VND, supporting the consolidation and new construction of 1,022 livelihood models, contributing to helping women develop the economy, stabilize their lives, care for children and participate in building strong border areas.
In March 2026, the Central Vietnam Women's Union and the Border Guard Command continued to sign a program for the period 2026 - 2030 with the motto "United - Creative - Substantive - Sustainable - Development".
For Hai Phong, today's activity is a specific continuation of that spirit.
