Adding motivation for teachers and students in mountainous areas to overcome difficulties
This is a practical activity towards celebrating the 13th National Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, term 2026-2031, and at the same time responding to the 2026 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign. Through the program, the youth of the Banking sector not only donates specific projects but also contributes to adding motivation for teachers and students in mountainous areas to overcome difficulties, maintain teaching and learning, and gradually improve the quality of education in the locality.
Attending the program were Comrade Tran Long, Standing Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the Central Bank Youth Union Inspection Committee; Comrade Doan Van Tuan, Director of the Planning and Management Information Department, Secretary of the Youth Union of Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank, along with comrades in the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank and the working delegation.

On the local side, there were representatives of leaders of the Party Committee and government of Den Sang commune; representatives of departments, branches, and mass organizations; the Board of Directors, teachers and students of Den Thang Kindergarten, Den Thang Ethnic Minority Boarding Primary School and school units in the area.
Within the framework of the program, the working delegation organized the inauguration, handover and affixing ceremony of youth projects at Den Thang school site.
Prominent is the project of a roof system and school equipment donated to Den Thang Kindergarten, with a total value of 184.54 million VND. The project helps the school have more safe and convenient space to organize learning and playing activities for children, especially in the harsh weather conditions of the highlands.
The delegation also presented the youth project "Toilets for children" and a rice cooker for Den Thang Ethnic Minority Boarding Primary School, with a total value of 65.5 million VND. The program also donated a TV worth 20 million VND to Sang Ma Sao Ethnic Minority Boarding Primary and Secondary School, increasing students' access to visual learning materials. The total value of works and equipment presented in the program is more than 270 million VND.
Each project and gift not only carries material value but also expresses the feelings, responsibility and sharing of union members and youth of the Banking sector towards teachers, students and people in remote border areas.
As a highland commune of Lao Cai province, Den Sang commune is a land rich in cultural identity, with pristine and majestic natural landscapes typical of the Northwest highlands. Den Sang is a long-standing residence of ethnic minorities such as Mong, Dao and many other ethnic groups. However, the lives of a part of the population mainly depend on agricultural production, animal husbandry and small-scale household economic models, which are still facing many difficulties.
In recent years, along with the attention and investment of the State, policy credit capital has become one of the important support points to help poor households and policy beneficiaries in the locality have conditions to develop production, create livelihoods, improve their lives and gradually rise out of poverty.

However, to reduce poverty sustainably, in addition to capital for production development, localities still need more resources to invest in education, health, clean water, environmental sanitation and facilities serving people's lives. In which, improving learning and living conditions for children is one of the long-term meaningful solutions.
Therefore, investing in roofs, toilets, cookers and teaching equipment in schools in Den Sang is of practical significance. The projects directly improve the school environment, better care for the health, nutrition and learning conditions of students, especially ethnic minority children in difficult school sites.
Cultivating the ideals and responsibilities of the youth of the Banking industry
Besides social security activities, "Journey of Border Affection" is also an opportunity for union members and youth of the Banking sector to experience reality, learn about the lives of people in mountainous areas and become more deeply aware of the responsibility of youth to the community.
After the inauguration ceremony and handover of the works at Den Thang school site, the working delegation continued their journey to the Lung Po border area, A Mu Sung commune.

At Lung Po Flagpole, delegates and union members and youth participated in the flag salute ceremony in a solemn and emotional atmosphere. This is an educational activity of profound significance, helping each union member and youth to be more proud of national history, cherish the sacrifices of previous generations and raise awareness of protecting national border sovereignty.
The working delegation also visited, encouraged and presented gifts to officers and soldiers of A Mu Sung Border Guard Station; offered incense at the Memorial Stele to heroic martyrs who sacrificed themselves in the process of performing the task of protecting the border.
Activities at Lung Po and A Mu Sung Border Guard Station have contributed to strengthening the bond between union members and youth of the Banking sector with officers, soldiers and people in border areas. The program "Banking Youth - Journey of Border Affection" is a harmonious combination of volunteer activities for the community with traditional education, revolutionary ideals and patriotism for union members and youth.

The program is also an opportunity for the youth of the Banking industry to concretize the spirit of emulation with projects and tasks with addresses, beneficiaries and bring practical efficiency. That is also a way for the volunteer activities of union members and youth to become increasingly in-depth, promoting the true spirit of "where youth is needed, there is youth, what is difficult, there is youth", and at the same time linking it with the expertise, strengths and social responsibility of the Banking industry.

From small but practical projects in the border highlands, the spirit of sharing and community responsibility continues to spread. Each union member and youth participating in the journey also has more opportunities to train, grow up, foster ideals, aspirations to contribute and the awareness of serving the people. "Journey of Border Affection" therefore not only leaves new projects at highland school sites, but also leaves a beautiful impression of the image of dynamic, responsible, compassionate and always ready to look towards difficult areas of the Banking sector union members and youth.

This is also a specific action of the youth of the Banking sector towards the 13th National Youth Union Congress, contributing to creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere, arousing the spirit of solidarity, pioneering, creativity and aspiration to contribute among union members and youth before the new term.
