On September 21, a working delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Ho Chi Minh City led by Mr. Pham Minh Tuan - Vice Chairman of the VFF Committee of Ho Chi Minh City visited Cho Ray Hospital to visit and encourage victims injured in the tree branch break on An Duong Vuong street, Cho Quan ward.
On behalf of the leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Pham Minh Tuan inquired about the health, treatment situation and presented gifts to support Ms. D.T. T (57 years old). At the same time, he requested the medical team to pay attention and create the best treatment conditions for the patient to recover soon.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cho Quan ward is requested to continue to coordinate with local authorities to monitor and promptly support the family spiritually and materially.
According to Cho Ray Hospital, the patient suffered multiple injuries, is currently awake, has good contact, vital signs are stable and is being monitored and treated actively. Doctors will continue inter-specialized consultations to agree on treatment plans.
Previously, on the evening of September 18, a large branch of a tree on An Duong Vuong street suddenly broke, fell into a bus and then flew onto the road, hitting a couple riding a motorbike. The husband, Mr. L.V. D (59 years old) was seriously injured and died; Ms. D.T. T was injured, was given emergency treatment and transferred to Cho Ray Hospital.
