On the evening of June 28, an art program to honor exemplary Cultural families - Happiness on the occasion of the 24th anniversary of Vietnamese Family Day (June 28, 2001 - June 28, 2025) took place at Nguyen Hue walking street (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City). This year's program with the theme of Happy Family - prosperous National.
The program was chaired by the Department of Culture and Sports - Standing Agency of the Organizing Committee for Commemorating Major Ho Chi Minh City Holidays, coordinated by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City, the Labor Federation, the City Youth Union, the Women's Union, the Farmers' Association, and the City Veterans' Association.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung - Member of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City said that Vietnamese Family Day on June 28 every year is an occasion to honor the traditional cultural values of Vietnamese families, organize practical activities to exchange, share experiences, and build families towards sustainable development, especially families in the current period.
Today, Ho Chi Minh City honors 90 outstanding Cultural - Happiness Families. These are opportunities to sit together, gather together and realize the value of each family cell in the social cell complex. Each family, each beautiful flower will create a fragrant flower garden in the city named after Uncle Ho.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung emphasized that from happy families, we will have abundant human resources both in intelligence and ethics, contributing greatly to the cause, industrialization, modernization, and strong development of the country.
