According to the 9th Session agenda, on the afternoon of June 13, the National Assembly will discuss the draft Resolution of the National Assembly amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution (the second time).
Discuss the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Law on Trade Unions, the Law on Youth and the Law on Grassroots Democracy.
Discussing this content with Lao Dong on June 12, delegate To Thi Bich Chau - former Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (Ho Chi Minh City Delegation) said that all of these amendments are aimed at a streamlined apparatus, including the Fatherland Front.
The delegate emphasized that the apparatus must be streamlined, efficient, more effective and efficient according to the direction of the General Secretary. Therefore, with its role, the Front cannot stand aside, outside this cycle.
The arrangement must keep up with the development but must closely follow its role and tasks, not away from political tasks.
Regarding the constitution of socio-political organizations under the Fatherland Front, the delegate hoped that with this apparatus arrangement, each department and field within the Front must be as close to the people as possible, as close to the people as possible and maintain contact with the people, grasping the situation of the people.
Therefore, the role of the leaders of the Front organizations and unions from the central to local levels is very heavy.
With that task, we must select cadres and leaders of the Front at all levels who are truly dedicated and capable, ensuring the motor of running along, accompanying and staying with the people to grasp the situation in a practical way, and speak for the people.
Expecting the apparatus of the Fatherland Front when drafting some contents, delegate Pham Van Hoa (Dong Thap Delegation) said that the 2013 amendment to the Constitution mainly focused on two main contents: organizing the apparatus and some things related to the Fatherland Front, political and social organizations.
According to the delegate, this amendment is considered a new step, of extremely important historical significance. Previously, socio-political organizations were members of the Fatherland Front. This amendment has identified the socio-political organizations under the Fatherland Front.
These are very new points compared to the current law, when put into operation, it will help the flow of the apparatus and operations of the socio-political organization to be more stable and orderly. Thereby, it is consistent with the practical situation in streamlining the organization of the government apparatus in parallel with the organization of the Front and mass organizations.
