Mr. Le Nguyen Hong Quang - Standing Member, Head of the Committee for Democracy and Law, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Ho Chi Minh City - said that propaganda and mobilization work has recently had many innovations to adapt to the rapid development of society, through the application of online systems in organizing meetings; standardizing content and enhancing propaganda on the city's cyberspace.
Thereby, conveying extensive information, promptly orienting public opinion, fighting and refuting distorted and negative information, contributing to improving the effectiveness of gathering and mobilizing people, creating consensus, unity and social stability.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front of the City has coordinated with member organizations to continue to innovate appropriate content and methods of operation; grasp the situation, thoughts, and legitimate aspirations of union members, association members, and people, promptly reflect to Party committees and authorities at all levels for consideration and resolution in accordance with legal regulations.
At the same time, it is necessary to mobilize people to actively contribute ideas to build a Party and government, especially in districts and wards where there are no longer People's Councils. Thereby, promoting the role of the people in participating in business and production development to stabilize their lives, contributing resources to care for social security, implementing public works, maintaining security and order in the locality.
Continue to effectively promote the role of ethnic minorities and followers of all religions and prestigious people in the community to join hands in building solidarity, cultural life at the grassroots level, building new rural areas and civilized urban areas.
In addition, propaganda, mobilization, gathering and solidarity work for overseas Vietnamese is organized in many appropriate forms, attracting overseas Vietnamese to return to their homeland to participate in building the country and Ho Chi Minh City.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City coordinates to organize meetings and visits to overseas Vietnamese and their relatives in localities; organizes conferences and seminars for overseas Vietnamese to give their opinions and suggestions on building and developing Ho Chi Minh City. More and more Vietnamese people are returning to their homeland, participating in humanitarian and charitable activities, returning to their country to start a business, investing in production and business.
