On the afternoon of June 25, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Quang Ninh province held the 3rd Conference, term XII, term 2024-2029 to evaluate the results of the implementation of the coordination program and agree on actions for the first 6 months of the year; deploy tasks for the last 6 months of 2025.
In the first 6 months of 2025, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations, member organizations at all levels in the province have closely followed the direction of the Central Government, the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee and the practical situation to effectively implement working tasks.
Units continue to affirm their central role in the political system, promote the strength of national solidarity, and perform well the function of supervision and social criticism.
Notably, propaganda and mobilization work has been strongly innovated, applying diverse digital technology platforms. Community sites, Zalo groups, and social networks have posted nearly 18,000 news and propaganda articles, contributing to creating social consensus and arousing the spirit of patriotic emulation among the people.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels have chaired the consultation of more than 132,000 voters, members, union members and people on the draft amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution. At the same time, coordinate to contribute comments to 223 draft documents sent by agencies and units for comments.
The whole province has organized more than 110 supervisions and nearly 150 social criticism activities. The provincial level alone has completed 3 supervision programs and 1 social criticism program for important contents such as: the election of the People's Inspectorate at the grassroots level; payment of support for damage caused by storm No. 3 (Yagi); support for young people to start a business and policies for treatment of artisans in the conservation of intangible cultural heritage in the period of 2025-2030.
The campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas" continues to be implemented synchronously, associated with national target programs. Notably, in May 2025, the Prime Minister issued a Decision to recognize Quang Ninh province as completing the task of building new rural areas in 2024.
Activities for the poor and ensuring social security continue to receive attention. The total budget mobilized for support programs for disadvantaged groups is up to hundreds of billions of VND.
The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has also presided over the development and implementation of the Project "arranging and streamlining the Fatherland Front agencies, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State (provincial and commune levels)", submitted to the Provincial Party Committee for approval. At the same time, coordinate with relevant agencies to advise on building a two-level local government model.
Digital transformation work is being promoted. The Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations have completed the editing and digitization of 100% of archival documents, contributing to improving the efficiency of operation and management.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Hoi, Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial Fatherland Front Committee emphasized: In the coming time, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province will continue to promote campaigns and patriotic emulation movements associated with building new rural areas and civilized urban areas; organize the National Great Unity Festival well and celebrate the 95th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Traditional Day (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2024).
Effectively implement the program of supervision and social criticism; carefully prepare for the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term; participate in giving comments on documents of the 16th Provincial Party Congress and the 14th National Party Congress.
Continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation. This is an important orientation, directly linked to the practical activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the province in the coming time.
