At the conference, the Provincial Military Command announced Decision No. 2785/QD-BQP dated June 14, 2025 of the Ministry of National Defense on the dissolution of 13 Military Commands of districts, towns and cities under the Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command; keeping the reserve Battalions and units under the District Military Command, transferring them to the Regional Defense Command in the area under their charge.
Also according to the above decision, the Regional Defense Command Committee under the Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command will be established, 5 Regional Defense Command Committees (PTKV) will be established, including: PTKV 1 - Quang Ha Executive Committee, PTKV 2 - Binh Lieu Executive Committee, PTKV 3 - Van Don Special Zone Executive Committee, PTKV 4 - Ha Long Executive Committee, PTKV 5 - Quang Yen Executive Committee, under the Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command.
At the conference, the Provincial Military Party Committee also announced the decisions to establish the Party organization of the 5 Regional Defense Command Committees.
