Latest update from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 7:00 p.m. on November 9, the center of the storm was located at about 19.1 degrees north latitude; 113.7 degrees east longitude, in the North East Sea, about 365km north-northeast of Hoang Sa archipelago.
The strongest wind near the storm center is level 14 - 15 (150 - 183 km/h), gusting over level 17. Moving west-northwest, speed about 10 km/h.
It is forecasted that in the next 24 hours, storm No. 7 will move west-northwest then turn southwest, at a speed of about 5 - 10km/h. At 7:00 p.m. on November 10, the center of the storm will be at about 18.6 degrees north latitude - 112.3 degrees east longitude in the northwest sea of the North East Sea, about 245km north of Hoang Sa archipelago.
The strongest wind near the storm center is level 12, gusting to level 15.
It is forecasted that in the next 48 hours, storm No. 7 will move southwest at a speed of about 10 - 15 km/h, weakening further. At 7:00 p.m. on November 11, the center of the storm will be at about 16.8 degrees north latitude - 110.1 degrees east longitude; in the sea area from Quang Tri to Quang Ngai.
The strongest wind near the storm center is level 8 - 9, gusting to level 12.
It is forecasted that in the next 72 hours, the storm will move southwest at a speed of 10 - 15 km/h and gradually weaken into a tropical depression and then a low pressure area. At 7:00 p.m. on November 12, the center of the tropical depression will be at about 14.3 degrees north latitude - 108.3 degrees east longitude; in the northern Central Highlands.
The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression is below level 6.
At sea, in the North East Sea, strong winds level 8 - 11, near the storm center level 12 - 15, gusting over level 17, waves 4 - 6m high, near the center 7 - 9m; rough seas.
