Updated bulletin issued at 10:20 am on July 19 from Tuyen Quang Provincial Hydrometeorological Station, in the past 12 hours (from 10 pm on July 18 to 10 am on July 19), there have been moderate rain, with heavy to very heavy rain in some places such as Thuong Son 139mm (Thuong Son), Yen Cuong 108mm, Giap Trung 104mm (Giap Trung), Xuan Lap 102mm (Lam Binh).
The soil moisture model shows that many areas in the province are in a state of near saturation (over 85%), and some areas have reached saturation.
Warning that in the next 6 hours, some areas in the province will continue to have moderate rain, in some places heavy rain with accumulated rainfall commonly 10 - 20mm, in some places over 30mm.
In the next 6 hours, there is a very high risk of landslides and subsidence in the province where the terrain is steep, areas with weak and unstable soil and rock structures, construction works and flooding in low-lying areas, along rivers and streams, and urban flooding.

Flash floods and landslides can have very negative impacts on the environment, causing local traffic congestion, affecting the movement of vehicles; civil and economic works causing damage to production activities and socio-economic activities.
The meteorological agency recommends that functional agencies in localities pay attention to reviewing flow bottlenecks and key locations in the area to have preventive and response measures.
Previously, in the bulletin issued at 9:40 am, the Hydrometeorological Station also warned that some low-lying areas, along rivers and streams in communes/wards: Tan Trinh, Thuong Son, Giap Trung, Yen Cuong, Lam Binh, Bac Me, Linh Ho, Duong Hong, Binh Ca, Dong Tho, Hong Son, Hung Loi, Kien Thiet, Minh Thanh, Nhu Khe, An Tuong ward, Binh Thuan ward, Minh Xuan ward, My Lam ward, Nong Tien ward, Phu Luong, Son Duong, Son Thuy, Tan Long, Tan Thanh, Tan Trao, Thai Binh, Tri Phu, Trung Son, Truong Sinh and neighboring communes are likely to be flooded. The common flood depth is from 0.5 - 1m, the maximum flood depth can be up to 2m; the flooding time can last from 4 - 6 hours, in some places longer.
