In the afternoon, clouds decrease and it will be sunny with the highest temperature fluctuating from 21 - 24 degrees C.
From the beginning of January to now, there have been 3 cold air waves on the night of January 1, January 5, and January 20.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Huong - Head of the Weather Forecast Department, National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the forecast for February and March is that the temperature tends to be higher than the multi-year average.
February is the remaining main winter month of the 2025 - 2026 winter, it is forecast that there will be about 2-3 cold air waves affecting our country. An early assessment is that the intensity of cold may not be as deep as the 2 cold spells on January 5th and January 20th" - Mr. Huong said.
The Head of the Weather Forecast Department also provided forecast information that in the last days of January and early February, there may be a new cold air wave.
The intensity of the northeast monsoon on January 31st - February 1st is not as strong as the recent wave, causing widespread severe cold and frost. In the next wave, there is a possibility of severe cold in mountainous and midland areas, but short-term, only about 1-2 days. The plains are at a level of nearly severe cold" - Mr. Huong said.
The meteorological agency has also forecast the weather trend in the coming days. Accordingly, under the impact of cold air, the Northern region from the evening and night of January 30 to January 31 will have scattered rain. From February 1, it will be cold, with severe cold in some places in the Northern mountainous region.
The area from Quang Tri to Da Nang city and the east of the provinces from Quang Ngai to Gia Lai from the night of January 31 to February 3, is forecast to have rain, showers and thunderstorms in some places.
Regarding the weather forecast for the Lunar New Year 2026, according to Mr. Nguyen Van Huong, currently due to the long forecast period, it is only possible to make a weather trend forecast for Tet, and it is not yet possible to specifically assess the weather for each holiday.
We have only made a preliminary assessment of the weather for the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, which is that the temperature in the Northern and Central regions during the Tet period tends to be higher than the average of many years at 0.5 to 1 degree Celsius" - Mr. Huong said.
Assessing the winter weather this year, Mr. Huong said that the winter of 2025 - 2026 tends to be warmer than the multi-year average. The average temperature for the entire winter is generally 0.5 - 1 degree Celsius higher than the multi-year average. The number of days of severe cold and harmful cold in winter is also lower than the average.
