The Northern and North Central regions from January 26 to January 27, with light rain, drizzle and scattered fog. Cold weather, mountainous and midland areas have places with severe cold.
From the night of January 27th, the Northern and North Central regions will have light rain in some places, early morning fog and light fog in some places; from about late afternoon and night of January 30th to January 31st, there will be scattered rain. Assessing this year's winter weather, the meteorological agency said that the winter of 2025 - 2026 tends to be warmer than the multi-year average. The average temperature for the entire winter is generally 0.5 - 1 degree Celsius higher than the multi-year average. The number of days of severe cold and harmful cold in winter is also forecast to be less than the average.
The cold trend in the northern provinces will continue to be maintained in January and February. It is forecast that there may still be severe cold spells, but in a short time in the Northern region, the intensity is unlikely to be too strong.
