According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the activity of cold air continues to cause unfavorable weather in some sea areas. Currently, the North East Sea area has strong northeast winds at level 6 - 7; the Gulf of Tonkin has strong northeast winds at level 6, gusting at level 7.
On January 22nd, day and night, the North East Sea area (including Hoang Sa special zone) will have strong northeast winds at level 6 - 7, gusts at level 8 - 9, strong sea waves, waves 4-6 m high.
The Gulf of Tonkin has strong northeast winds at level 6, gusts at level 7 - 8, rough seas, gradually decreasing winds at night, waves 2-3 m high.
The sea area from South Quang Tri to Khanh Hoa and the central East Sea area will have strong northeast winds at level 6, gusts at level 7 - 8, rough seas, waves 2 - 5 m high.
The sea area from Lam Dong to Ca Mau, the western sea area of the South East Sea (including the western sea area of the Truong Sa special zone) will gradually have strong winds up to level 6, sometimes level 7, gusts of level 8 - 9, strong sea waves, waves 3-5 m high.
On January 23rd, day and night, the Northern East Sea area, the sea area from Da Nang to Khanh Hoa and the central East Sea area will have strong northeast winds at level 6, gusts at level 7 - 8; waves 2 - 5 m high, rough seas.
The sea area from Lam Dong to Ca Mau, the western sea area of the South East Sea (including the western sea area of the Truong Sa special zone) has strong northeast winds at level 6, sometimes level 7, gusts at level 8 - 9, waves 3 - 5 m high, strong sea waves.
The meteorological agency warns that the level of natural disaster risk at sea is level 2. All ships operating in the above areas are at high risk of being affected by strong winds and big waves.
