Regarding the hydrological situation, currently, the water level on some rivers in Lao Cai, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, and Cao Bang provinces is rising, other rivers in the Northern region are changing slowly and below alarm level 1, especially the upstream Gam River at Bao Lac station, Thuong River at Cau Son station, Cau River at Thac Gieng station and Bang Giang River at Bang Giang station are above alarm level 1 to alarm level 2.
Warning from today (June 30) to July 1, on small rivers, upstream of main rivers in the Northern region, there is a possibility of a flood, the flood amplitude on rivers is from 2 - 4m. During this flood, the peak flood water level on small rivers is likely to reach alarm level 1 - alarm level 2, some rivers above alarm level 2.
High risk of flash floods and landslides occurring in mountainous and midland provinces in the Northern region. Warning level of natural disaster risk due to floods is level 1.
