    According to the meteorological agency, it is forecasted that in the evening and night of September 2, the Central and Southern highlands will have some places with heavy to very heavy rain with rainfall over 100mm.

    According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, today (September 2), the Central and Southern regions will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some places having heavy rain.

    Rainfall from 7am to 3pm on September 2nd has monitoring stations measuring over 30mm such as: Mang Buk station (Quang Ngai) 41.8mm, Nam Xuan station (Lam Dong) 69.6mm, Mang Hanh station (Khanh Hoa) 39.2mm,...

    The area from Hue city and the South Central Coast in the late afternoon and evening of September 2 is forecast to have scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall of 10-30mm, locally over 80mm.

    In the Central and Southern Plateau in the evening and night of September 2, there is a forecast of moderate rain and thunderstorms, locally heavy to very heavy rain with rainfall of 20 - 40mm, locally over 100mm.

    The meteorological agency warns of the risk of heavy rain with rainfall greater than 90mm within 3 hours. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

    Localized heavy rains are likely to cause flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes and flooding in low-lying areas. The warning level of natural disaster risk due to tornadoes, lightning, and hail is level 1.
