From the night of March 28 to March 29, it is forecast that the Northern mountainous region will have rain, scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places. The meteorological agency warns that rain during the seasonal transition period poses a risk of dangerous phenomena accompanying thunderstorms, tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Some works such as power poles, schools, and cultural houses were also damaged. In the afternoon of March 22, widespread thunderstorms appeared in some provinces such as: Son La, Phu Tho and Lao Cai. Many areas recorded hail with particles with a diameter of 1 - 3cm.
From about March 30 - 31, the Northwest region and from Thanh Hoa to Hue city are likely to experience a widespread heat wave, with intense heat in some places with the highest daily temperature commonly 35 - 37 degrees, locally over 38 degrees C.
On the 31st, hot weather is likely to expand to the Northern Delta region with the highest daily temperature commonly 35 - 36 degrees C, locally above 36 degrees C.
Hanoi city from March 28 - 29, forecast cloudy, light rain, drizzle and scattered fog at night and early morning, sunny skies in the afternoon. Lowest temperature at night and morning is about 22 - 24 degrees C. Highest temperature in the afternoon is commonly 27 - 29 degrees C. From March 31, Hanoi will be hot with the highest temperature in some places above 35 degrees C.
Other areas are sunny during the day, the Central Highlands and the Southeast region have hot sunny places; showers and thunderstorms in some places in the late afternoon and night. The area from Da Nang to eastern Dak Lak from March 30 - April 2 is likely to have localized hot sun.
