National wrestling team players are not allowed to compete in amateur village festivals during professional training.

The national wrestling team complies with the regulations of the Vietnam Sports Administration, which is not to allow athletes who are in professional training to participate in amateur village festival competitions.

Currently, the Vietnamese wrestling team is training athletes in classical wrestling, men's freestyle wrestling and women's freestyle wrestling.

Each coaching staff conducts inspections according to regulations with the players.

In the past time, no players of the Vietnamese wrestling team participated in the village festival program to ensure compliance with professional requirements.

Recently, a case passed away after participating in the village wrestling festival at the beginning of the new year in Kim Anh commune (Hanoi). On February 28, the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports provided specific information about the unfortunate case.

The Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports inspected the above incident and clearly understood that the above case was not a national wrestling team player.

Traditionally, every early spring of the new year, many village wrestling tournaments are organized in localities. In which, the Northern region attracts many wrestlers to participate in village festival tournaments, contributing attractive programs to the audience. The wrestling competition program at the village festival receives the attention of many classes of people, many ages who love this sport.
